The Grove is a trendy high-end shopping mall adjacent to L.A.’s famous Farmer’s Market, with dozens of great shops and restaurants, a 14-screen movie theater, a musical fountain show, and some fine plazas and courtyards. Take a look at this absolutely beautiful gallery of photographs taken at the The Grove in November 2012.
The mall’s anchor stores are Nordstrom and Crate & Barrel, which are joined by about three dozen other stores, including:
- Abercrombie & Fitch
- Anthropologie
- Apple
- Barnes & Noble
- Forever 21
- Kiehl’s Since 1851
- Janie and Jack
- Johnny Was
- Splendid
- stylehaus
- Topshop Topman
After all your walking and shopping, you’ll ready for a break. Stop and enjoy the 50,000 gallon pond and fountain, catch a film at the theatre, or stop for a meal. The Grove has several excellent restaurants, serving BBQ, Burgers, Cheesecake, and French & Italian foods. If it’s not time for a full meal, you can still stop and have a treat at Häagen-Dazs or Starbucks. While at The Grove, you should also hop aboard their trolley—a classic 1950s Boston street car—and head over to L.A.’s Farmers Market.
Check out the calendar before you visit, as there are often book signings, special sales, children’s events, summer concerts, and more. The Grove is about a 15 minute drive from both the Beverly Hills and Hollywood areas of Los Angeles. Check out this page for more info on getting to The Grove. Once you get there you can find parking off of Fairfax Ave. or The Grove Dr. Parking is free for the first hour, with a charge after that.
