This century-old landmark has been a favorite among fishermen since its creation, and has only grown from there. The pier is home to a historic carousel, an amusement park, gift shops, bait & tackle shops, and more. Want learn to use a trapeze? The Santa Monica Pier has that too! The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium has over a hundred species of marine biology, including sharks, stingray, a California Moray eel, an octopus, crabs, and sea stars.
If you get hungry while at the Pier or on the beach, you can find a host of places to eat. As you’d expect, seafood is all around. But if you something else, the Santa Monica Pier has that too. If you want pizza, Mexican food, or mouth-watering burgers, they’ve got you covered!
